Gaelic Affairs

Two young Gaels with a passion for sharing our heritage have developed a fun, interactive, and engaging presentation giving an overview of Nova Scotian Gaelic culture and the influence Gaels have had on both our past and our present.  Public School students have the opportunity to learn Gaelic phrases, view a Powerpoint presentation explaining various aspects of Gaelic culture and history, sing a milling song and 'mill' woven cloth, wear a great kilt, dance a few steps, listen to live fiddle tunes, and 'read' from Gaelic books.
