Gaelic Affairs

Mabou resident and Gaelic Educator, Margie Beaton, will share the poetry and songs of the small island of Eriskay in the Outer Hebrides. She will focus on the work of her father, the Eriskay bàrd, Dòmhnall Dòmhnallach, and will discuss the influences of religion, nature, the sea, history and local events on his poetry and songs.

Presentation will be in Gaelic, with some translations into English. #GaelicMonth
